Katherine Smirl

Katherine Smirl earned a Bachelor's of Science and Engineering in
Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. She joined the U of M
Applied Physics program in the fall of 2004. She is not yet involved in
research, but her primary interests lie at the intersection of solid state
physics and optics.
